Aquafit
Classes
H2O~FIT
has been in business since 1994, and offers 18 aquafit classes
per week at three locations in Toronto.
Our classes involve
deep and shallow deep-water exercises using aqua-belts, noodles,
training tethers, hand-buoys and stretching straps, set to
a variety of upbeat music, in pool temperatures of 83-90 degrees.
Each 45 minute class includes a 5-minute warm-up, 20-25 minute
aerobic workout, 10 minutes of muscle conditioning and a 5-minute
cool-down and stretch component.
Classes
are led by highly qualified and experienced instructors who
strive to motivate, educate and communicate with their participants.
The H2O~FIT instructor team is C.A.L.A.
(Canadian Aquafitness Leaders Alliance), Bronze Cross, C.P.R.
and First Aid certified, and will lead you through a safe,
effective and fun water workout.
This
non-impact workout reduces stress on joints and is a great
way to strengthen and tone muscles without strain or post-exercise
pain. So, whether you're in good shape or just beginning to
exercise, our aquafit classes will improve your overall fitness
in a fun and friendly environment.
Please
Note
This program is not classified as aquatic rehabilitation.
To participate in this program, the ability to swim is not
required.
Non-swimmers must not enter the pool until the class instructor
arrives.
All
class participants must shower before entering the pool.
Please do not wear body cream or perfume prior to attending
your aquafit class.
For safety and hygiene, pool deck shoes are highly recommended.
